What's New for FY 2022

We always want to make sure you and your family have all the support you need, no matter what challenges come your way. That’s why we frequently evaluate and update your Intuit benefits. For FY 2022, we’re introducing several new services and features that focus on supporting your mental health and overall well-being, helping you save on health care, and giving your more ways to grow and protect your family. Unless otherwise noted, all changes take effect August 1, 2021.

Cost Decreases for Medical; No Cost Increases for Dental and Vision

With the unique situation that employees—and the world—are still in, Intuit made the decision to cover 100% of the cost increases for FY 2022. In fact, your paycheck costs for the Cigna Select PPO plan have decreased by about 30%, depending on how many dependents you cover. Please refer to the biweekly paycheck costs in the FY 2022 Plan Snapshot.

Enhancements to Your Health Care

Decrease to Cigna Deductible and Out-of-Pocket Maximum

  • The deductible for the Cigna plan has decreased:
    • In-network: from $1,500 employee-only/$3,000 family to $750 employee-only/$1,500 family
    • Out-of-network: from $3,000 employee-only/$6,000 family to $1,500 employee-only/$3,000 family
  • The out-of-pocket maximum for the Cigna plan has decreased:
    • In-network: from $5,500 employee-only/$11,000 family to $3,250 employee-only/$6,650 family
    • Out-of-network: from $11,000 employee-only/$22,000 family to $6,500 employee-only/$13,300 family

Prescription Drug Copay Decrease

The copay for retail prescription drugs through CVS Caremark (per 30-day supply) has decreased from $15 preferred generic/$40 preferred brand/$75 non-preferred brand to $10 preferred generic/$30 preferred brand/$50 non-preferred brand.

Teladoc Telemedicine Services

If you’re enrolled in the Cigna plan, you and your covered dependents now have free access to telemedicine services through Teladoc. Doctors are available by phone or video 24/7 to help you with issues like allergies, ear infections, nausea and vomiting, sinus problems and skin conditions, and then call in prescriptions when needed. Teladoc also has doctors available for neck and back issues, tobacco cessation and nutrition counseling. To start using Teladoc, you need to activate your account.

SelectTime Employees: Virtual Primary Care

SelectTime employees have access to virtual primary care services through Teladoc 360. Through this service, you can establish a long-term relationship with a primary care provider while enjoying the ease and convenience of virtual doctor’s appointments. And they’re available seven days a week!

Virtual Access to Musculoskeletal Care

Through Hinge, you have virtual access to physical therapists, physicians and board-certified health coaches who can assist in any of four musculoskeletal care areas: prevention, acute, chronic and surgery.

More Ways to Protect Your Family

Life and Accident Insurance Enhancements

You now have more options for life and accident insurance coverage.

  • You can purchase optional supplemental employee life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance coverage in $50,000 increments up to $400,000.
  • You can purchase optional spouse/domestic partner insurance coverage in $25,000 increments up to $150,000.
  • You can purchase optional child life insurance coverage of $25,000.

Legal Insurance

Your ARAG UltimateAdvisor® legal insurance membership now gives you access to legal services that specifically support the LGBTQ community, like domestic partnership agreements, funeral directives and gender identifier changes. Keep in mind that annual enrollment was your once-a-year chance to sign up for legal insurance (unless you experience a qualifying life event).

More Ways to Boost Your Well-being

Welcome to Virgin Pulse

You can now participate in the Well-being Hub, powered by Virgin Pulse, which connects you with Intuit well-being programs and benefits that are relevant to you, based on your interests and health assessment. The Well-being Hub helps you start and maintain important healthy habits. You can challenge friends and build a community to help support you on your well-being journey.

As part of the Well-being Hub, Virgin Pulse Journeys gives you the daily support you need to reach your goals in the areas of physical fitness, diet and nutrition, tobacco cessation, sleep improvement, stress management and financial wellness.

Through Virgin Pulse, you can use the Whil digital mindfulness platform. You can explore more than 1,250 sessions with master trainers. Just choose your program and select a 1-, 5-, 10- or 20-minute session and you’ll be on your way to greater mindfulness!

SelectTime employees also have access to life coaching services to help with issues like weight management, stress, anxiety and nutrition, as well as conditions like diabetes, mental health and heart disease. Sign up for coaching through the Health section of the Virgin Pulse hub.

Increase to Optum Counseling Sessions Continues

Effective February 1, 2021, you have access to 10 (rather than six) free, confidential counseling sessions for each need that you have, each fiscal year, through Optum, Intuit’s Employee Assistance Program.

This summary of material modifications (SMM) provides important updates about Plan provisions that are in your current summary plan descriptions (SPDs). This SMM is required under ERISA when plan provision(s) materially change. Until new SPDs are published, use this Summary of Material Modifications (SMM) in combination with your current SPDs.
