Supporting your emotional well-being

Introducing Lyra Health: Your new Employee Assistance Program (EAP) partner

We’re excited to share that you and your dependents now have access to enhanced EAP services through Lyra Health.

Lyra provides care for your emotional and mental health how, when, and where you need it. Whether you’re feeling stressed, anxious, or depressed, confidential support options from Lyra, including therapy, mental health coaching, and unlimited access to self-care apps, can get you back on your feet.

You, your spouse, and your dependents age two and older have access to 12 coaching or therapy sessions through Lyra Health each plan year, at no cost to you. For Cigna Select PPO medical plan members, continued care with a Lyra therapist is also available through your health plan benefits. Please note that Lyra Health replaced Optum as your EAP provider effective August 1, 2022. If you are receiving care from an Optum EAP provider, you may need to choose a new provider under Lyra. Learn more about the transition-of-care options available to you.

No cost for in-network behavioral health office visits

The Cigna Select PPO pays 100% of the cost of in-network office visits for mental health and substance abuse therapy.

Travel and lodging coverage

We have expanded the travel and lodging coverage under our medical plans for plan participants who need to travel out of state to get medical care. Travel and lodging benefits under our Cigna Select PPO plan include coverage for medical services that are covered under the plan but are not available within 60 miles of an individual’s residence. If you are not enrolled in an Intuit medical plan and accessing medical services creates a significant financial hardship, reach out to HR Connect for additional support options.

COVID-19 and telehealth coverage

These benefits have been extended through the end of FY’23:

  1. 100% coverage for COVID-19 testing and treatment
  2. No-cost Teladoc telemedicine visits


The allowance for frames increased from $180 to $200. We’ve also added new coverage for computer glasses frames—a $200 allowance—and a $1,500 allowance toward LASIK.

New fertility support through Maven!

Maven helps guide you through the range of parenthood options—no matter what path you take—from preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum to fertility treatment, including IVF, IUI, and egg freezing, to adoption and surrogacy. They even help support your return to work after parental leave.

Unlimited access to Maven’s holistic support is free to employees and to their spouse or domestic partner enrolled in an Intuit medical plan.

Increased coverage for fertility-related prescriptions

The Cigna Select PPO lifetime maximum for prescriptions that treat infertility and support elective egg freezing increased from $7,500 to $10,000.
